Cool is dropping the follow-up to your wildly successful debut album on an unheralded Tuesday in March. Cool is walking into the office of your major record label with a master tape for a record and telling them you want your album released in seven days. Cool is Consoler`s of the Lonely, a record so good that the artists actually decided to let the music speak for itself. How refreshing is it to see a major recording artist go all Radiohead and bypass the industry bullshit to let the consumer make the decision about what they want to hear. It`d all seem like a gimmick, if it wasn`t just so damn good.
